Cinda Price
Originally from Ohio and being used to painting what is known as the “Ohio grey” among Plein air painters, Cinda is very passionate about painting Michigan’s beautiful atmospheric conditions since moving to the state in 2008. The colors seem to be more vivid and purer, and the air cleaner. She has painted in 10 below zero conditions to pouring down “cats and dogs” rain to weather that has hovered around 103 degrees F. Adapting to the challenges thrown into her painting excursions, she has traveled to Kenya and throughout the U.S. bringing back her Plein air paintings and sketches done on site for her larger studio paintings of the people and places that she has since completed. Many of her paintings are in public and private collections throughout the United States
