Kathleen Crane

PAAWM artist Kathleen Crane's watercolor "After the Work, Keeneland" was selected for the Winter Art Festival competition at the Gallery Uptown in Grand Haven, MI. One hundred fifty-nine pieces were submitted and seventy-four were selected. Her painting is of the backside of Keeneland racetrack in Lexington, Kentucky. She visited Lexington last fall and created a number of studio pieces of the area upon her return home. Gallery Uptown is an artists' cooperative gallery that has been in existence since 1975. The juror was Virginia Jenkins, Department Chair of the Art and Design Department of Grand Valley State University. The show runs through February.
